While this sandwich tastes best with crusty French bread, you can technically try making it with any bread that you like.
Ingredients:
| 1/4 | cup | mayonnaise |
| 2 | loaf | french bread |
| 1 | avocado |
|
| 1 | tomatoes |
|
| 1/2 | cucumber |
|
| 1/4 | onion (red) |
|
| to taste | salt |
|
| to taste | black pepper |
Directions:
1. Spread the mayonnaise on both the cut sides of the French bread.
2. Layer the avocado, tomato, cucumber and red onion on the bottom halves of the bread, and season with salt and pepper. Close the sandwich, then cut in half. Serve at once.
