Good nutritious, tasty Indian food even when you are under the weather if you make it less spicy.
Ingredients:

| 0.75 | cup | toor dal |
| 2 | tablespoon | olive oil |
| 1 | teaspoon | cumin seeds |
| 2-3 | clove |
|
| 1 | cinnamon stick |
|
| 1 | onion (yellow) |
|
| 2 | clove | garlic |
| 2-3 | chiles (green) |
|
| 15 | green beans |
|
| 1 | carrot |
|
| 1 | potatoes |
|
| 0.5 | cup | peas (frozen) |
| 3-4 | cup | water |
| 1 | teaspoon | chili powder |
| 2 | tablespoon | coriander powder |
| 0.5 | teaspoon | turmeric |
| 0.5 | teaspoon | garam masala |
| salt |
Directions:
1. Heat the oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. When they are little red, add cloves and cinnamon stick.
2. Add garlic, onion and green chillies and saute for a min.
3.Add all the chopped veggies and saute for 5 min.
4. Drain the water from the daal and the rice and add along with the chopped veges and saute for 5 more min.
5.Add all the spices and mix well.
6. Add 3 cups of water and let it boil for 10 min. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook till the daal, rice and veggies are cooked. You can add more water if needed.
