Good change from normal Indian subji, this tastes good with roti, paratha or naan.


Ingredients:

0.5 cup chana dal soaked
1 bunch chopped roughly
0.5 cup dill, use fresh chopped roughly
1 small carrot chopped
1 small chopped
1 medium chopped
1 medium onion (white) chopped
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
pinch turmeric
4 clove garlic diced
pinch asafoetida
2 tablespoon canola oil
2 tablespoon tamarind water
salt

Directions:
1. Put all first 10 ingredients in cooker and cook till 3 whistles. Once the cooker is cool take out from the cooker and mash all the veggies.

2. Add tamarind water to it.

3.Heat oil and add asifoetida and garlic and put above daal and veges mixture in it.

4. Add salt per your taste and cook for 10 min.

5. Serve hot with roti, parathas, naan or puris.
